Sounds like you had a great time at the eating establishments-- good for you! The book store sounds like wonderful fun also-- I had never heard of it and now I know more about it-- sounds like one of the 8 wonders of the world. I love it that you scout out the cities where you are and find wonderful things to do and appreciate. So many seem to just stay in their hotels and limit their experiences to airports, taxis and hotels. I love your sense of adventure and your courage to try new things. Just hearing about it, makes me want to go there and try it myself.

Hi Roland,

If things don't work out with your credit card company, you can still request a refund from Florida Incentives. In fact, I'd recommend that you do so. If you just recently were contacted by them (within the last 30 days), you will get a refund or Florida Incentives will be breaking the law. So, if you paid for the trip in the last 30 days, send Florida Incentives a registered letter requesting a refund. By Florida law they have to give it to you, no questions asked. Then, once you have sent the letter, call them and let them know what you've done. I would do this even as your credit card company tries to process the charge reversal. This will guarantee you take advantage of the Florida statute designed to protect consumers like you and me.

Hi Ryan
I'm one of the suckers that got caught by Florida Incentives and I would like to thank you for editing this blog since it helped me to realize that I was sucked in by that organisation. After reading your blog on the subject, I contacted the supplier of my VISA card ang asked them to reverse the charge in my account. They will send me a letter that I will sign to authorise them to reverse the charge by claiming that I never received the service and after that I will ask them to change my account number to avoid that Florida Incentives reuse my account number for additional charges. I hope that this will work and if not I will consuder my loss as experience.
i used this chanel to get back to you because I did not know how to get back to you using the Florida Incentives Blog channel.

You went to Powells?! Gee, I'm jealous!

And I knew that our current political leaders were a bit, uh, inhumane, but I didn't realize that they were actually quite inhuman! Shape-shifting demons, no less!
