Groovy. Do you have recipes to share?

We'll have to come check out Metroburger some time. Next time I find myself in your area we'll go for sure!

We've done the same thing with two party dishes. One is a recipe (called "hanky panks" in Amy's family for some reason), which is just a sausage and cheese baked on top of little party rye squares. The other is layered chili dip. We've taken both to parties and no one has ever noticed that they're not made with real meat until they see us eating it and do a double take.

On a related note,
Metroburger, a new gourmet burger restaurant, just opened in our neighborhood and they have the best homemade veggie burgers we've ever had. And it's just around the corner from our house!

I am not a vegetarian, but do agree that we eat WAY too much meat as americans in general. If I were to taste something that was as delicious as meat without being meat, I'd probably jump right on it. What is this sloppy joe recipie? Sounds like it stirred up some controversy. I remember reading about it and laughing to myself at your little ploy.
