  • Debi dressed down

    Debi put Toren down for bed this night but Toren wasn’t going to have any of it. In his best baby babble, he told her what he thought of being put to bed (turn your audio up, and no, there isn’t anything to see; it was too dark to film):

  • first tooth

    Toren’s first tooth just broke through his gums.  It’s a front tooth on the bottom.  The other front teeth are close to breaking through, but have not yet.  Dang those buggers are sharp!

  • losing the battle to boogers

    This was in the middle of Toren’s non-stop cold. We couldn’t wipe his nose fast enough and this time, wiping it just spread the boogers around:

  • chipmunk

    This is a clip showing Toren storing food in his cheeks. You have to look closely, but he is storing food in his cheek: FYI, he doesn’t do this as often as he used to.

    When Toren gets tired, toys lose their appeal. He throws them to the side. You can see that in this video:

  • Toren spasm

    While playing with toys, Toren will occasionally have weird spasms where he will kind of clench up and shake things. We caught one on film in this clip, though you can’t see it very well.

  • object permanence

    I came up with a little game to test whether or not Toren had developed object permanence:

  • first attempts at crawling

    This is an edited video of a couple of clips of Toren attempting to crawl. He’s much better at this now (army man style, not on his knees), but this was just as he was learning how:

  • Toren with a cold

    This is a clip of Toren at the height of his successive colds, which ended up being a sinus infection. It’s more sad than anything as you can see how hard it is for him to breath and can tell he just wasn’t feeling well:
