Before Debi took Toren to daycare one recent morning I picked him up to give him a hug and kiss. I then asked him, “Toren, who loves you?”
Toren said, “Mommy.”
I said, “And who else?”
Toren replied, “Granmary.”
Glad he knew his grandmother loves him, I prompted him one more time to see if he would include me, “And?”
Nothing. He just looked at me blankly. Apparently Toren doesn’t know I love him…. 🙁
