When I got home from my recent 5 day trip, Toren had changed. In my absence he had gotten back to liking some stuffed animals (which he used to like a long time ago and then stopped paying attention to). For example, when I went to get in the backseat of the car with him at the airport, his monkey that his Grandmary gave him was sitting in the rear passenger seat wearing its seat belt. Later that night, Toren asked me for “Carol” his bear when I tucked him into bed. I told him that my friend Carol gave that bear to him and that I just saw her at the meeting I went to. He said “My love my bear Carol.” Then he added, “My like the person Carol, too.” I told him that I like Carol as well.
