coughing and grunting for attention
This video shows another of Toren’s phases – coughing for attention. For about a month, Toren would fake cough to get our attention. He must have realized that we paid very close attention to him when he was really coughing, so he started fake coughing to get our attention. This clip also shows his new…

England Trip – day 2
I arrived at Gatwick airport around 8:00 am, relatively unrested (thanks to my talkative neighbor). I quickly made my way through customs, picked up my bag, exchanged some currency, then found the stop for the direct bus to Oxford. I missed a bus by about 15 minutes, which meant I had to wait another 45…

Toren and the banana
Everything we do, Toren wants to do now. His favorite toys are our computer mice and keyboards (what does that say about us?). When he saw Debi eating a banana one morning, he wanted a turn:

England Trip – Day 1

He is reaching for everything, is almost instantly…

He doesn’t always do this quite this calmly, but Toren loves to play with our faces. You know what that means: Fingers up the nose!

what parents will do for a laugh
Ever since we heard and saw Toren really laugh, we’ve been trying to get him to really laugh again. Here I am pulling out all my tricks – stomach blowing, letting him pull my hair, bouncing him, letting him “fly”… Chortles… The dark meat of laughter. 🙁

I refuse to roll on command
Back to the droll videos… I noted in an earlier post that Toren rolled over from his stomach to his back first for my Mother while she was visiting us. She told me about it when I got home from work. So I pulled out the camera, put Toren on his stomach, and waited: Nothing!…
