Toren saying “Granmary-ny-ny-ny”
Toren has a funny way of saying Granmary, which is what Debi’s Mom, Rosemary, prefers to be called by her grandkids. He adds a cute “ny-ny-ny” at the end. It’s pretty adorable and he did it all by himself:

UAE Trip – Day 1
A little background may be in order for blog readers… As part of building the case for the accreditation for the University of Tampa, those developing the most recent application materials included an international component (it was before I arrived, so I wasn’t involved). From what I’ve been told, the basic idea is that we will…

Bye, Cutie!
Toren has recently taken to repeating things we say, even if he doesn’t know what they mean. As I was headed off to work one day, Debi said, “Bye, Cutie.” (That’s her “pet” name for me.) Toren then looked up at me with a big smile on his face and said, “Bye, Cutie.”

cute boy
Not the best quality picture, but I love his expression in this one:

stickers
Toren loves stickers. He is also inventive and creative. He smartly asked: Why do stickers have to go on paper? Why can’t they go on, say, your belly? Apparently they can go on your belly!

maybe he needs a helmet…
I walked into the office one day and found Toren like this:
