Okay, it’s not really “official” as there are no hard and fast criteria for what a “good” baby is, but he does seem like a “good” baby to us.  He rarely cries, and even when he does, it’s usually just small whimpers to tell us: (1) he’s tired, (2) he’s hungry, or (3) he needs…

My sister Wendy, with whose camera we took the earlier photo I posted of Toren as a card table, sent some additional photos from that night of wild Cragun canasta fun:

Now that Toren is a bit pudgy, we rarely see his neck. When he does stretch it out, he kind of looks like a turtle:

We’re not sure why, but Toren’s best smiles seem to come on the changing table: Maybe it’s that whole nudity thing?!?

When you have a hand to chew on: Those are not special effect sounds – that’s really him, slurping like it’s his first meal in a month (for babies, about 2 minutes since feeding qualifies as a month)!

We stripped Toren down to his diaper and set him on the couch. We think he’s going to be a nudist one day – he loves being undressed:
